Lori earned her Viticulture Certification in 2023, began making wine, and is currently awaiting final licensures for selling her finished products. Along the way, she has received valuable assistance in perfecting her skills. She believes in the continuous refinement of the winemaking craft. To this end, we thoughtfully manage our vineyard, cultivate our vines sustainably, and engage in constant research, all striving to create exceptional wines, one glass at a time.
Today, our vineyard stands as a symbol of resilience, love for the land, and the craft of making wine, thoughtfully designed as Social Vines to be a beautiful agricultural space where the shared appreciation of wine cultivates lasting experiences. Please join us in celebrating this journey of passion and perseverance!
OUR STORY
In the embrace of a historic 150-year-old red barn, our vineyard was born from a fusion of architectural skill and a passion for wine, reshaped by the challenges of the 2020 pandemic. Lori and Brian Herron envision transforming this once-forgotten barn into a quaint tasting room, a project for which they are eager to break ground on soon, symbolizing our boutique vineyard. During the pandemic, Lori, a seasoned occupational therapist of 26 years, shifted her focus to viticulture, culminating in the planting of two acres of cold climate hybrid grapes in 2022 with family and friends support.
